Why do you need a catch can?

A catch can is used to improve engine efficiency and reliability by managing crankcase blow-by gases. From the factory, the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system routes oil vapors and combustion gases back into the intake to reduce emissions. While this works for stock engines, it can become a problem in performance or high-mileage applications.

Under increased boost, higher RPM, or engine wear, more blow-by occurs. This pushes oil vapor and fuel contaminants into the intake system. Over time, this can:

• Coat intake valves and sensors with oil residue
• Reduce effective octane by contaminating the air-fuel mixture
• Increase the risk of pre-detonation (knock), especially on aggressive tunes like E85
• Contribute to sludge buildup in the intake tract

Why ours vs the others on the market?

Most catch cans are designed for simple street use—but that's not how a UTV is used. We specifically chose not to recirculate oil back into the engine. We've had oil analysis performed on recirculating setups, and the results showed significant fuel and water contamination—something we consider unsafe for long-term engine health.

Our Multi-Chambered, fully baffled design is built specifically for UTV abuse. It contains oil properly, maintains airflow under high load, and is engineered to stay clean even in the roughest conditions.
